Clarendon RD & Bedford Ave where two big bike lanes cross.
Good spot for connection to SBS
This dead end is perfect for a CitiBike location. It's out of the way of all traffic.
This location is nearby a polling place, by a school that also often hosts community events, and a bike lane - all great places to provide CitiBike access!
I think it helps to have as many intersections in this neighborhood covered as possible. I can rarely find an empty dock when I ride late at night, and have had to dock 20 minutes walk from (which often feels unsafe as a woman)
Docking and undocking bikes here on St Paul's Place would be safer and easier than on busy Caton Ave (which is littered with very large trucks!) and provide bike to subway connections.
Good location to allow bike to subway transfers without getting in the way of the bus stop and bus lane
Other exit for Parkside Station
Rugby at Cortelyou is insanely busy in the morning and after school lets out. The school is quite large and there is a lot of double parking. It feels dangerous and citibike would just be another variable in the mix. Also, drainage on the corner opposite of the school--the corner with the original street post--is terrible and the sewer always smells, particularly in the summer. That intersection is a hot mess. So excited for Citibike! But you will rue that corner if you set up a station there. Beverley or Dorchester is a better option on Rugby.
Near playground and plentiful sidewalk space.
