Greenways

Greenways provide safe and accessible corridors for transportation and active recreation through parks and on streets. NYC DOT is responsible for the planning, design and implementation of greenways on city streets.

Our final round of community workshops is complete and we’ve posted all four presentations on-line. Each presentation includes: the Greenway’s background and process, a summary of the entire 14-mile route, and the proposed capital projects and future enhancements specific to each neighborhood.

The final Implementation Plan is still being developed, so please have a look at the neighborhood(s) with which you are most familiar and give us your comments.
