The Ambassadors visited the Tompkins Park Senior Center to speak about traffic related safety issues in the community. Seniors are one of the most vulnerable populations in the city; despite being only 14% of the city's population, they account for 50% of all pedestrian fatalities. So speaking with seniors is of particular interest.

We asked about the different modes of transportation residents are using to get around, some of the various destinations they are visiting and what, if any, traffic related issues they are experiencing in the neighborhood.

As always, we distributed small giveaways as a thank you to participants for providing feedback. Hope to see you at one of our upcoming events!
