I have noticed A lot of cars and trucks double parking on out block when delivering for us or building around us, which makes it difficult for cars to pass, I have also realized at times being the fire house is down the block sometimes it causes them trouble to pass by which can be dangers if there's a fire and they cant pass, there is a bike station across form our hotel which makes it more difficult To pass. Which is why I'm trying to see if there is anyway possible we can get a loading zone in front of our building. Please responded at your convince. Thank you for your time. Mike Raffinello

The honking from traffic is CONSTANT on our residential block because there are bus lanes going. both ways and there are people constantly double parking ... all it takes is one cab / person loading, stalled car and it is mayhem .. our babies can't sleep why do we have to put up with this in our homes

Subject: Request for Loading Zone at 100 East 53rd Street Dear NYC Department of Transportation, I am writing to formally request the installation of a designated loading zone in front of 100 East 53rd Street, a mixed-use building that houses residential condominiums, office space, and a restaurant. Given the high volume of deliveries, passenger drop-offs, and commercial activity, the lack of a dedicated loading zone has resulted in persistent double-parking issues, congestion, and safety concerns. Key Issues & Justification for a Loading Zone: Frequent Double-Parking: Delivery trucks and ride-share vehicles often double-park in front of the building, blocking traffic and creating hazardous conditions for pedestrians and cyclists. Delivery Challenges: The restaurant and office tenants receive frequent shipments, often leading to delivery drivers unloading in unsafe or illegal spots due to a lack of designated space.
