the honking is nonstop on our residential block ... the bus is the worst offender ... two way street with bus in both directions, anytime somebody is unloading their groceries or what have you it causes total gridlock in both directions. this happens multiple times a day.
I'M Yahya Murshed the owner of Atlas candy wholesale located on 1620 Decatur St, New York, NY 11385, I want to request a loading zone area in front of my business, Currently, without a designated loading zone, my business frequently experiences significant delays in receiving shipments. The lack of a proper space for unloading large trucks leads to congestion on Decatur St, causing inconvenience not only to my operations but also to other vehicles and pedestrians. This situation often results in blocked traffic, which is frustrating for everyone involved, so I'm requesting a loading zone area for this purpose in case you want to contact me this is my email yahya_murshed@yahoo.com. Bike lane is blocked. Outside post office. Cars and postal trucks are parked in the bike lane while loading and unloading.
Bus lane is blocked by dollar vans and double parked cars.
The new loading zone is not practical as it doesn’t even allow for the residence to unload their groceries unless you have 2 people to help.
Parking is already limited to only one side of the street. Please undo the loading only that was just installed.
Please give us back the parking that was just taken away for a “loading only” zone. It’s a residential street, not commercial and parking is very limited.
Truck unloading at grocery store. Weekday mornings. 6am. Blocks right lane.
Residents of the family shelter could benefit from a loading zone on Crown St. I've seen people in vehicles loading/unloading/waiting double-parked on Crown St, on the sidewalk of Rogers Ave, or in the bus lane.
