West 82 St - Broadway - Manhattan

There's a loading zone sign in front of a residence entry (#221 W. 82 St.) from the entrance to the corner of 82 and Broadway. There is no business located there and it's taken away even more parking in the area. It is an unnecessary location to have the loading zone. I ask that the DOT reconsider having this part of the block marked as a loading zone and return it to a regular parking area.

Oftentimes there are parked vehicles that deliver and pick-up furniture to the store. They are double parked usually in the afternoon or morning or parked that blocks the crosswalk

From Widdi Hall, often time any time there is a party or concert there are a ton of double parked cars from the 6th Avenue section or 56th street side. This mainly occurs during the evening and night times

From the Five Below store or the Healthmax Pharmacy, usually in the morning or afternoon there are trucks unloading products in front of the bus stops or double parking on the vehicle lane. This creates a bottleneck as sometimes both lanes are double parked, creating a situation where cars and busses needed to be cautious when driving. It is also an accessibility issue since many of the busses can not park in front of their stops or curbs.

24 St - 39 Ave - Queens

We have a business located at the Intersection of 24th street and 39th ave in Long Island City, NY 11101 ( Rapid Fan & Blower Inc.) We have been at this location since 1978. We have deliveries during the day and the trucks are forced to Double park on 39th Ave so we can unload. This has caused traffic and also arguements and almost fights with other drivers who cannot get past while we are unloading. We requested a loading zone sign before, but they didnt see enough activity to justify for the "10minutes they spent here looking. There is also a contruction company across the street who would benefit and a Hotel. If it is possible maybe this could be revisted and reviewed. Today someone actually filed a police report that started from a delivery here.

Commercial vehicles are constantly double parked here in this residential neighborhood throughout the week. We need a specified no parking loading zone for these local businesses so that traffic is not interrupted. I have several images of double parked commercial vehicles.

Cars and trucks always parked on bikelanes on both sides of the street. Mostly daytime hours and especially on weekends. This forces bikes to share the driving lane with cars, and is extremely dangerous. We need regular traffic cops there, it would be huge source of ticketing revenue!
