St Edwards St - Auburn Pl - North Elliott Walk

112 Saint Edwards St (Stonewall House) is an 18 story, 145 unit senior housing building. Seniors, many using canes, walkers, and wheelechairs, are forced to navigate treacherously through a wall of parked cars to double parked Access-a- ride and car services. A loading only designation as well as curb cut is much needed to reduce the chances of falls and alleviate tenant anxiety on arriving and exiting via cars and mini buses.

I am a resident of 365 Bridge Street. Currently there is no left turn from Jay Street onto MetroTech way. I propose that this left turn be allowed on nights after 7:00 pm and weekends for RESIDENTS only. I have lived in this neighborhood since September 2024 and my observation is that there is virtually no traffic on Jay Street in the evenings after 7:00 pm and on weekends. The amount of construction and the layout of one way streets in the area denies residents easy egress to their homes and forces us onto the Flatbush Avenue Extention. Allowing home owners-who pay taxes to maintain these roads-more streamlined access to Lawrence, Bridge and Duffied Streets would keep excess cars off the Flatbush Avenue extention. This request has also been made by City Council Member Lincoln Restler as well. I intend to rally my neighbors on all three streets. Thank you.

NYPD regularly parks police and personal vehicles here, intentionally blocking the bike lane and motor vehicle traffic

This busy one-way street has a large residential, school, and commercial building with tons of deliveries. About a year ago, someone stole one of the "No Standing Zone" signs, and it has not been replaced. Placard abusers, MTA vests, Police time cards in dashes, use the no standing area as a free parking lot. When folks park there, delivery trucks must double park and traffic gets held up which causes tons of honking and noise on the street. Please make this an official loading tow-area zone.

This 250 unit residential building receives many deliveries as well as school bus pickups etc. The area in front is always blocked by vehicles with city permits which causes major congestion as delivery trucks are forced to double park blocking all through traffic.

There was a huge truck in the middle of the bike lane in front of the gas station which forced the bikers onto the sidewalk or the middle of the road
