Trucks always deliver on my street and I can’t get home. They need to park on hyland blvd on the bus lane
The UPS Store and the deli across the street have trucks blocking this area a lot, which ends up blocking either the bike lane or the travel lane. Having a shared loading zone would be good here!
Please change the bus lane rules to be broken up from 7am-10am and 5pm-7pm instead of 7am-7pm to subsidized for the increased traffic As this will also take away parking with increasing parking competition, please provide parkling options for the professionals at Kings Hospital and SUNY Downstate, as well as free or affordable parking for those in the newer buildings
Too many bikers coming through. The neighborhood is trying to stop them by parking in their way. These bikers are dangerous. There should be a maximum speed limit of bikes to 5mph. Electric bikes should require governors.
Valet is constantly blocking this area in the evenings, particularly on weekends, making this area very dangerous.
Cars are regularly double and even triple parked here, especially during rush hour but really all the time, making it take twice as long and twice as dangerous to drive south on Rogers Ave. Sometimes cars just stop in the middle of the street and the driver gets out without even pulling over when there is a space available.
Dangerous double parking every single day in front of the restaurant. The road is so narrow with the double parkers that I have had to pull my mirrors in multiple times.
Delivery trucks-- typically UPS trucks, but others as well-- park on the sidewalk here everyday, completely blocking it and forcing pedestrians into the dangerous street to get around them.
Trucks double parked on West 58th Street continually. Specifically in front of 345 West 58th Street in zip code 10019. These trucks sit double parked (illegally), not loading or unloading, simply waiting to enter the Deutsche Bank Center and many times the same truck is there for hours on end. West 58th Street in this location should be a 3 lanes wide road allowing for easy passage, after accounting for the designated legal commercial parking on each curb side of the road during the daytime and legal parking of all vehicles in the evening. This double parking of the trucks causes terrible congestion plus pollution as many times the trucks idle for 30+ plus minutes while waiting to enter the Deutsche Bank Center. There is a continual and constant stream of trucks illegally double parked and there is ZERO NYPD parking enforcement, and ZERO effort is made to dissuade the illegal double parking in this location. The trucks also constantly block an active driveway entrance to the 345 West 58th Street building as well as an entryway to a parking garage under this building. The trucks also prevent the Department of Sanitation from being able to perform trash removal as the double-parked trucks block access to the curb where waste is disposed of. If the city is serious about congestion, pollution and quality of life, this is a location that requires immediate attention. Thank you.
There is almost no point to having a bike lane on St. Nick. EVERYONE double parks, the bike lane is NEVER free. It's especially bad around 145. Please try and get the COPS to at least set a good example and not park in the bike lanes!
