UPS truck always blocking and on sidewalk!! It needs a loading zone
Needs a loading zone urgently! Bike lane obstructed 99% percent of the time
There are constantly cars double parked on bay parkway around 2:30-3:00pm as schools are being dismissed. Sometimes up to 10 cars double parked as I am driving from around 77th street down to the belt parkway.
Vans and cars parked in bi directional bike lane for their vendor stalls in Union Sq. Also police cars
Trucks always parked loading Gristedes
Vehicles parked on sidewalk every weekday.
The dollar van usually waits on Southbound Utica Avenue between Eastern Parkway's service road and main road. This blocks the crosswalk for everyone trying to cross the street to or from the subway. Please create a loading zone where the dollar van can wait, and ensure that the crosswalk can be safer.
Grand St. and Berry St now have traffic lights. The barricades force cars and trucks into pedestrians becuase barricades are haphazardly placed in crosswalk and block vehicles from having access to or from Berry St and Grand. Meanwhile, citibikes, e-vehicles and mopeds nearly kill children and pedestrians crossing the street with the light.
In two places on this sidewalk (driggs between N11th and N12th) DOT has installed round bike racks that have been placed way to far into the sidewalk. When a bike is there it is not wide enough for the volume of pedestrians using the sidewalk to get by. They need to be taken out. The racks were placed to far into the sidewalk on the N11th side too.
