There is parking being taken away all the time by filmmakers, construction, and other events. This sign is another way to give people tickets. This is a residential area and does not help the residents. There is not a huge amount of traffic that comes down morningside ave.
This building has several elderly residents and could use a loading/unloading area directly in front of the awning
Bus lane (left travel lane) is always blocked by ignorant drivers who are trying to merge back into the right lane. Buses have to drive illegally on the opposite travel lane to get past the congestion.
Most of Steinway St is constantly double parked, especially in the afternoon and evenings, even though there is only one travel lane in both directions. Buses and other vehicles have to dangerously swerve into the opposite travel lane. How about converting most stretches of the street from parking to loading zones (max. 15 minutes)?
There are two travel lanes on the busy section of Crescent Street between 41st Ave & Queens Plaza N. The right lane is frequently blocked by vehicles loading/unloading, causing backed up intersection and lots of weaving.
Moving trucks are constantly parked in the bike lane, posing a danger to cyclists and pedestrians
Bike lane frequently blocked by trailers/trucks dropping off goods at neighboring stores and 9 Million Reasons food pantry (at former Evangel Christian School - 3921 Crescent St)
North outer roadway bike/ped lane is very over crowded. Blocked by construction as well. NYC DOT refuses to expand.
Double or even triple parked cars, ubers, buses on both sides of the street. Bike lane is useless. Taxi stand is used for uber to hang out all day. No enforcement by NYPD
