Double Parking
Double Parking
1 Ave - East 64 St - East 65 St - Manhattan

Every morning. From East 63rd all the way to East 74th on 1st ave. There's so many non commercial parked cars in the parking lanes, where the trucks need to be double parked in a moving lane, causing mass traffic. Both sides of 1st ave! Both sides are commercial vehicle parking only until 4pm or 6pm mon-fri. Yet no spots are open! Give these people tickets and control who's parking!!

Ocean Ave - Church Ave - Tennis Court

Ocean Avenue from Crooke to Foster needs to be made a no parking zone. It is a major traffic corridor for both vehicles and bikes, and at the same time there are large apartment buildings on every block whose residents need to be dropped off and picked up and receive deliveries. There are CONSTANTLY vehicles double-parked on both sides of Ocean because of this!! It would be much better if the parking areas were made loading zones so that the cars that inevitably need to stop on these blocks didn't double park.

West 35 St - Broadway - 7 Ave

There is no legal loading space on this block, but delivery drivers are often sent here by building security after being turned away from the Macy's loading dock, even with an appointment. Security instructs them to park at the curb, which is posted No Standing, and drivers end up getting ticketed for following those instructions. There is no safe or legal nearby option, especially for furniture or freight deliveries that need curb access. This puts drivers in a no-win situation and causes avoidable enforcement and safety problems. Please consider adding a designated commercial loading zone to resolve this ongoing issue.

Always cars blocking the bike lanes along this strip on either side of the street. This is frustrating for a bike rider like myself

Eldert St - Knickerbocker Ave - Irving Ave

There are two large apartment buildings here, the street is very frequently blocked due to delivery trucks or residents loading/unloading vehicles. The space to the left of the hydrant (while looking towards 345 Eldert) should be converted to a loading zone. Note: The motorcycling parking area should be kept (or better yet made official).
