Cortelyou Rd - East 39 St - East 40 St

Illegal Commercial vehicles parking on Snyder, Brooklyn and Schenectady ave edges of Holy Cross cemetery detracts from the character of the neighborhood and encourages dumping of commercial garbage and vehicle vandalism. There are often seemingly abandoned trailers etc left by commercial operators on these two stretches.

Double parking during school pickup here on Brooklyn Ave backs up traffic on Brooklyn ave for a long distance. The road turns into a parking lot for 30 minutes every school day.

Newkirk Ave - Nostrand Ave - East 31 St

Double Parking and Truck unloading on Newkirk just East of Nostrand is a problem. Subway dropoffs, food trucks and trucks unloading for the alley behind the businesses on Nostrand cause a snarl every day.

Double parking to pop into the businesses between Ave D and Newkirk is a major problem on this block.

Avenue D - East 29 St - Nostrand Ave

Gypsy cabs routinely park in the bus lane here to pick up passengers. They sit here waiting for a few minutes until they have a full cab. It forces busses to park in the main road which makes it impossible for traffic to get around the bus. It's a mess.

This loading zone on a residential street is completely unnecessary. Ticket the construction sites blocking all loading and unloading areas on the corners instead of putting a loading zone in front of residential houses.

Lafayette Ave - Clinton Ave - Waverly Ave

Why is there now a loading zone here?!?! There are no businesses on this street and no reason for there to have been one added without input from the community. Go fix problem areas, but no need to change something that wasn’t broken to begin with.
