Cars, vans and trucks always parked here, especially during morning and evening rush hour. Makes an already dangerous intersection more dangerous.
Double parking is so bad here, drivers legally parked on the street get trapped in by double parkers so often that people now just double park **NEXT TO OPEN ON THE STREET PARKING SPOT**. Literally just in the street next to a curb side spot. wild.
There is an *incredible* amount of double parking (sometimes triple parking) which occurs on both sides of the street here. This will take the ave down to a one way choke point which regularly gets blocked, traffic stops, then the honking starts. NYPD does not do anything, 311 complaints do nothing. It's really awful I feel trapped.
Bike lane is always blocked with double parked cars during my morning commute. Ocean avenue should have a 2 way protected bike lane on the side closest to the park as that's where most people are going. Crossing from the northbound bike lane to the park is way sketchier than it needs to be.
We need more truck parking
This is already a loading zone, but the enforcement is non-existent so it might as well not exist. Why expand something if the agency in charge refuses to do any enforcement whatsoever?
Every morning cars and trucks are double parked all along Dekalb near Flatbush in the bike lane while I’m trying to safely get my son to school.
This area suffers from a constant stream of honking drivers every time there's a UPS, Amazon, or other form of delivery vehicle stationed here blocking the flow of traffic. I would love to see a litany of new loading zones specified for this area so this doesn't happen so often. It also occurs constantly where certain people with park for 20-25 mins in such a way that also blocks the flow of traffic. Also as an aside if it's relevant, I'd also love to see noise sensors put in place for this block for that same reason.
Gotham Ready-Mix is constantly blocking the bike lane with parked trucks in an already hectic and dangerous and highly-used stretch of Morgan.
