Double Parking

Jackson Ave - 46 Ave - 23 St

Trader joes uses this bus stop along Jackson Avenue to unload goods during off peak hours. Too many private vehicles and ride share use the travel lane to double park, making it dangerous for pedestrians and cyclists.

10 Ave - West 44 St - West 45 St

Trucks often blocking traffic lane as well, causing lots of horns, traffic tie ups. Trucks are unable to use side street loading dock due to schools, clearances. Trucks also block bike lane. maybe loading zone on W 44th.

Rogers Ave - Church Ave - Erasmus St

Auto shops have taken over this block parking 3 rows deep, they change tires in traffic, do bodywork painting, the neighborhood precinct just drive by even when traffic is down to half a lane + the bus stop.

Dean St - Carlton Ave - Vanderbilt Ave

This block has constant loading and unloading, as well as double parking. The result is that the bike lane is blocked at all times and traffic jams occur regularly. Complete re-design required!

Cars double park during school dropoff and pickup. This happens because are allowed to park in a no-standing zone.

There is double parking here all day every day. It has been this way for at least the past 17 years that I have commuted along this route.

Cars/trucks constantly double parked blocking traffic/creating gridlock while unloading/unloading on Court Street starting in front of Trader Joe’s at Atlantic Ave cross street down to Bergen Street cross

West 231 St - Broadway - Albany Crescent

Both to the east and west of Broadway along W. 231st people are constantly double parked, blocking buses, etc

Ft Washington Ave - Margaret Corbin Plaza - West 190 St

Amazon distribution contractor routinely parks in travel lane for 4-6 hours so they can deliver packages. Often blocks the adjacent bus stop and clogs an already double-parking heavy street.
