The Northern boulevard bridge provides no access and NO DIGNITY to the flushing bay waterfront promenade / citifield for the communities in flushing not using cars. The Pulaski Bridge provides a great example of what needs to be done - provide a dedicated, separated pathway for wheeled active mobility tools like bikes, and keep the sidewalk dedicated to pedestrians
Need a North / South bike path connecting the North greenway with the Vanderbilt Motor Parkway. Utopia Parkway would be an ideal connector since it has schools and other communal spaces that would benefit having additional ways to access greenspace. A few parts are tight - could we consider traffic calming if dedicated separate bikeways become less feasible? Other routes possible? Clearview expressway can't be the only option
A ferry from here to the Bronx directly
A way to cross from here to the Bronx right across the water. Could be ferry or some other form.
please - more connected and protected bike lanes. thanks - John Frisbie, Woodside
Are there any plans to connect the Flushing and Astoria greenways?
This area is a nightmare for cyclists heading to and from Pulaski. We need bike stop lights, clear directional signs for cyclists, and the road needs to be paved over.
This intersection has buses, cars, bikes, and it would be great to have a separate bike light and paint drawn around from 27th Avenue to 8th Street and vice versa. the intersection also sits atop a hill, which means that cyclists necessarily slow down.
The road on 27th Avenue needs to be paved over. It's so potholed. It's also very tight, and doesn't allow for much curving from the park and onto 8th Street.
Please continue to add more Jersey barriers on the Queens Boulevard bike lane. Thanks.
