We need more space on the QBB for bikes and pedestrians. It is very dangerous and fixing it Late summer is not good enough. We have waited years for a fix and people are getting hurt because of DOTs slowness.

Bike Path - Jackson Ave - Queens Boulevard

There is a construction project on the corner of Queens BLVD and Northern it blocks a bike lane, sidewalk, Subway stop and bus stop. Space should be provided for bikes and Pedestrians. The building will take years to build.

Routing the protected bike lane through the park shows the DOT’s typical unserious nature regarding bike riders. I’m trying to get somewhere on my bike most of the time and I don’t want to detour through a park!

the whole LIC waterfront is a big joke when it comes to separated bike infrastructure. cars and delivery trucks drive and stop and park wherever they like.

81st & 82nd should have protected bike lanes down to at least Astoria Blvd.

Astoria Blvd should have protected bike lanes and dedicated bus lanes

We need a bike/pedestrian bridge over Newtown Creek at this location

Bike Lane Protection
Bike Lane Protection
48 St - 37 Ave - Northern Boulevard

This stretch of 48th Street, between 37th Avenue and Northern Blvd is a meat grinder for bicyclists and needs protection. the east side (northbound) is constantly double parked in and the segment just south of Northern Blvd is a sad mix of bad driving and conflict for north bound bike riders. Put a two-way protected lane on the west side of 48th street where there is less parking conflict!

Bike Lane Protection
43 St - 34 Ave - 35 Ave

This part of Queens has extremely poor access to parks or greenspace, so making the 34th ave bike lane an actual, protected bike lane would make it MUCH easier and safer to get to the waterfront/parks in western Astoria, or to safely access the protected bike lane on Crescent.
