Unsafe Crossing
Unsafe Crossing
Queens Plaza North - 21 St - Vernon Boulevard

Confusing crossing because of the signage for motorists and street can get busy with cars during rush hour without presenting a safe opportunity for cyclists and pedestrians to cross. Should be a stop sign

The bike lanes all along 103rd from Roosevelt to Northern Blvd are in TERRIBLE condition. This entire street needs to be repaved ASAP. There is crumbling gravel, dangerous potholes, and other street debris and blockages on literally every single block.

Junction Ave should be converted to a dedicated busway for the Q72 with protected bike lanes. The congestion along Junction at all hours of the day is untenable. Making the Q72 more efficient, faster, and reliable with a dedicated bus lane could do a lot to mitigate that congestion.

Lack of Public Transportation
Lack of Public Transportation
Avenue Of Enterprise - Meridian Rd - Path Of Research

There is NO public transportation in Flushing Meadows park. There needs to be a bus or at least Citi the get around the park if you don't have a car. FMCP is one of the largest parks in NYC. There needs to a bus that moves people from north to south part of the park.

50 Ave - Lic Greenway - 2 St

The entrance to our building 1-50 50th Ave, which holds 619 apartments, has been designated a bike lane, which makes no sense as there are pickup and drop off moments all throughout the day so the lane is constantly blocked. Most notably pick up and drop off of school aged children, and people with disabilities. This needed to be taken into consideration for urban planning. How is the front of such a density rich building designated as bike lane? Please find out a way to accomodate residents needs before changing all our roads to mimmick Manhattan. Same as the parking meters. Most people here are residents that park in the street. How is the street more expensive than the parking garages? Maybe it makes sense in midtown, but LIC waterfront? teachers, supermarket, restaurant workers all come her to spend 8 hours a day. Residents park for several days in a row.

We need to extend the bike lane from Hunter's Point park that ends abruptly on 50th Avenue and Center Blvd. A protected bike lane needs to be extend all along Center Blvd in from of Gantry park for the safety of bikers and pedestrians. This is a very busy Blvd..

Center Boulevard - Lic Greenway - 49 Ave

Please extend the protected bike lane on Center Boulevard to continue along 48th, 49th & 50th Avenues. These blocks are treacherous for cyclists, as there is no room for them to maneuver with all the double parked cars and food trucks.

The bike lane ends here. I dream of a day I can take a bike along fully protected bike routes to the airport.
