Funeral home
Not near the funeral home property.
Good location since it's near park and greenway. I do not see that many around here though.
I believe that the sidewalk is public property. When someone ends their trip, they have to take a photo to confirm they properly parked. If there's people parking on the public sidewalk here, that means there is a demand for this program.
I'm glad Flushing got this program. It's a good thing that the apps ask you to upload your driver's license as a way to confirm you have an understanding of roadway safety. There's been too many car accidents in Flushing resulting in deaths of young children unfortunately, I wonder how they still have their licenses.
There's a lot of sidewalk space, there is congestion because of cars. Bikes or scooters are not causing that congestion. The bike lane along Sanford had already been established, so it matches well with the scooter program.
I live right by this corner and the area is generally apartments, 2-3 family housing. Not everyone has a car or a home and people need to realize that sidewalks are public. There is often a scooter that is left at the corner of a sidewalk, but I consider it similar as if someone parked their bike on the sidewalk. In general people on this block typically use Lime scooters. And overall I think this project benefits the working people.
