Good Location for a Citi Bike Station

Colonial Rd - 91 St - Marine Ave

This is a great place for a bike station. Increased accessibility to bikes will lead to less cars on the road, making the streets safer for everyone in the community. To make Bay Ridge more walkable and livable, we need to reduce the number of parking spots.

4 Ave - 86 St - 87 St

86th and 4th would be a great location since it is already a transportation hub. It's important for people to have access to bikes if there is a transit delay. This will reduce car traffic and make the space safer for all.

Centrally located commercial area with high pedestrian circulation. Wide avenue and sidewalks.

Shore Rd - 78 St - 79 St

Shore Road ideal street for placement of CitiBike Station. Parallel to park and shore, and on the edge of the neighborhood so radius of car-dependent commuters needing parking is far less than in the centrally located parts of the neighborhood. Many homes also have private driveways for their cars making the need for on-street public parking less necessary.

Circulating pedestrians to and from ferry. Will increase use of ferry and Citi Bike.

86 St - 3 Ave - 4 Ave

86th and 4th would be one of the best places for a bike station. This is a busy shopping hub with connections to the R train, B1, B16, S53, S79 and S93 buses. Allowing people to get here via bike share might cut down on the idling Ubers and double parking.
