Greenwood cemetery Sunset Park entrance. You should definitely put racks near all the entrances, total no brainer! You could bike to one entrance, walk through the cemetery, get out at a difference entrance, and bike home! To people (I think it is just one person making the same comment multiple times) saying that it is disrespectful to have bikes near the cemetery: 1. ???? 2. the main entrance already has a bike rack
Good sidewalk width for a dock.
Yes, as a previous commenter has noted, the Industry City complex itself is a problematic hub for gentrification in Sunset Park, but that isn't the fault of the small businesses that have taken up residence there, who are worth supporting and giving access to. Having more bike docks allows more transit options for Industry City and is a great idea.

Spot is 1 block from the subway, located directly off of a bike lane, and is far enough away from the highway overpass to eliminate some of the traffic concerns (left turn lanes, road narrowing under the overpass) that would come with placing the dock directly at the subway station. As building along the Forth avenue corridor continues, this is an ample location for a CitiBike dock.
Industry City does not need another bike station. The lack of space at the current bike stations is because this is the only bike station in South Brooklyn. This is the nearest bike station for everyone living in Sunset Park & Bay Ridge. The answer is to increase capacity elsewhere in the network by building new stations throughout Sunset Park and Bay Ridge. Please don't waste limited resources on expanding capacity here when the problem is the lack of Citibike infrastructure throughout the rest of the neighborhood.
This is not a suitable location for a bike station. 39th Street in this location is a bus/truck heavy traffic road. The entire north side of 39th Street is just warehouses and parking garages - a bike station here would see little use and be a waste of resources. There are many more suitable locations just a few blocks over towards the park or 5th Avenue. Please don't waste limited biking resources on a station in this location.
I agree with the other commentator - putting a docking station next to the 9th Avenue subway station would be a smart move. This is a high traffic subway station with two high traffic bus stops next to the station on 39th Street. This would be one of the smarter infrastructure moves for the neighborhood.
I agree with other commentors here - this location is probably one of the more must-have locations for a docking station, in addition to the 59th Street N/R Subway station. Brooklyn Army Terminal and the ferry stop warrant enough foot traffic for their own bike station. Also, the hospital is right nearby - and if the hospital does not want a docking station right next to it - than this station here would easily provide coverage for anyone at the hospital.
