Citi bike capacity near Pier 6 needs to be expanded. The existing rack is always full. There is poor public transit in the area and Citi bike is the best way to reach the area. Unfortunately, the lack of Citi bike capacity makes biking to the area difficult.
There is a huge hole in the system network in this area since inception. Now that 9th ave reconstruction is done with a protected bike lane even more need for a large station here for downtown traffic and returns for north hells kitchen which has also seen a major increase in housing units around this area
This is a dumb idea. But the bikes by the waterfront, not the street.
Near Little Island
In front of fairway this will also deter the double parking that's constantly there
WAY MORE DOCKS NEEDED. Almost always either NO DOCKS or NO BIKES. This dock needs its capacity massively increased by (1) having the doubled-up docks installed; and (2) the dock area extended (currently it's quite short but there is plenty of space for it to be extended).
Please place a bike station at the entrance of the Pulaski bridge in Long Island City
Stroud park would be a great place for a station!
The rack on the south side of the block has been removed, presumably due to construction. However there's plenty of space on the Northside of the block. Given that the Carroll St Bridge is closed for the foreseeable future, there's no racks with quick access to Bond St (going north)
