The dock here was always being used, but it was recently taken down. This is a high traffic area for night life and food where people often bike. This dock should be replaced.
There is a TON of CitiBike traffic here due to the Hudson River Park, Chelsea Piers, and the Westside Bike highway. However, there is not a single CitiBike dock within 2 blocks of here. when going to chelsea piers I have to go all the way to 10th ave to find a bike dock. It's just not reasonable given the amount of traffic there is here for CitiBikes
There is a new Meta office opening here and the traffic for Hudson Yards is thick. There will be a lot of commuters coming here via bike and right now there is no CitiBike dock. The dock on 8th ave also needs more capacity.
It would be great to get a rack right by this entrance to the 7 train right at the foot of the Pulaski Bridge. There are lots of people Citibiking to this train stop from Greenpoint over the bridge daily so having more capacity, and a station right by this 7 entrance, would help build capacity and eliminate the need for the somewhat anyone leg of the trip from the bridge over to the station by the other end of the 7 train.
3,500 new Meta employees will start entering/exiting the Farley building per workday from this location imminently. There aren't any Citibike racks on the 9th ave side though. It would be great to get some added to facilitate travel from the Hudson Yards 7 stop, and our other offices located in Hudson Yards.
at the edge of the park, theres's space on the street, only minimal loss of parking or could put station on the alleyway on 128th
More docks on Morningside park
this one could be at the entrance of central park on E 90th street. Benefits of calming the intersection
good use of space on 116th and Morningside Ave, can be used for daylighting intersection
Hoyt's an important southbound bike route but there's nothing on Hoyt until Dean St. The new "shared space" or whatever looks like a good place to put one.
