There is a perfect place for a Citibike station in a sidewalk area just south of the base of the stairs ascending from Tiemann Place to Riverside Park. That place is not used for anything else.

Need more citibike availability near the LIRR!!!!!!!
A dock in this dead zone could serve the large area population as well as the 103rd street 1 train
A citibike dock near the express 4/5/6, N/R/W stop would be greatly valuable
I would love a dock in this location, serving the endpoints of the crosstown 55th/52nd street bike lanes. Bike availability at existing neighborhood docks is very unreliable. I would place the new dock on 1st avenue in front of Madison Restaurant and Starbucks.
Bed Stuy has too few stations in general. This would fill a gap.

I'm recommending the location that is on 54th St, along the north sidewalk, right at the corner of 1st Ave. This location is on the 54th St bike lane, and one block south of the 55th St bike lane, making it an excellent start and end point for trips by area residents. We are often out of bikes at the few locations we currently have. Sometimes, walking to the dock with the last remaining bike is too much walking (for me) and takes to much time (and the bike might be gone)
Obvious place for some docks! At the entrance of the park and near the subway.
Please move this bike station off the sidewalk and on to the street median. This is a blind corner for pedestrians, and the bike station forces walkers on the sidewalk into oncoming bike traffic from both directions. There is a very wide painted median which could accommodate an expanded bike station.
