The Bronx Library Center is the central library of the Bronx, providing services that many other branches do not have. It also provides space for teens, children, and seniors to spend time. The space outside all public libraries should be reserved for CitiBike rather than private vehicle storage.

This is atop a major subway station, at the intersection of two sprawling commercial corridors: Fordham Road and the Grand Concourse. This would also connect to Bx1 and Bx2 Limited Bus Service along Grand Concourse and the Bx12 Select Bus Service along Fordham Road. The strategic importance of this location is strengthened because it is the terminus for every other Bx22 bus (Valentine Av), where many riders are surprised each time because they want to go all the way to Bedford Park.

Next to the Fordham MetroNorth station is absolutely essential. That station must be transformed into a multimodal hub for commuter rail, Select Bus Service, local buses, and the like. CitiBike here would make possible connections to Arthur Avenue small businesses, the entire Fordham University campus, the NY Botanical Gardens, the Bronx Zoo, the (4) train on Jerome Avenue, the (B)(D) trains on Grand Concourse, and the (2)(5) trains across Pelham Parkway.

DeWitt Clinton High School is home to thousands of active Bronx teenagers who could use the service to get around, make connections to other subway stations beyond the 4 train at Mosholu, or to other bus hubs in the Bronx.
