East 136 St - Willow Ave - Walnut Ave

The Bronx Brewery—as well as other restaurants and bars in this area—are good locations for CitiBike stations. They are draws for Bronx residents and tourists from within and outside of New York City. They are not immediately located at train stations, however. People are sometimes—fairly or unfairly—worried about crime in this neighborhood and are afraid to walk along it, especially if they are alone.

Grand Concourse - East 138 St - Major Deegan Expwy Et 3 Nb

Right by the stairways exiting out of the 3rd Avenue — Grand Concourse (4)(5) train station are critical spots to stock lots of CitiBikes. This will act as a portal for Bronx residents who live further up on the (4)(5) train—frustratingly outside the CitiBike zone still—to hop onto bikes to head into Manhattan. It's crucial to have stations at the last stop in the Bronx for all lines so passengers can bike between lines in the event of service failures or scheduled shutdowns by the MTA NYCT Subway.
