Greenways provide safe and accessible corridors for transportation and active recreation through parks and on streets. NYC DOT is responsible for the planning, design and implementation of greenways on city streets.

NYC DOT is hosting four community workshops to gather feedback about potential route alternatives for our Harlem River Greenway (Bronx) Implementation Plan.

DOT staff talk with community members about the Harlem River Greenway planning process while tabling at a park in the Bronx.

After a year of research and outreach, NYC DOT is returning to the Bronx to gain community members' feedback on our proposed route alternatives to connect Van Cortlandt Park to Randall's Island. As we continue the planning process, we want to ensure our plan reflects the community's priorities.

We will host four workshops (two in-person and two virtual) in March and April 2024 to gather community feedback. You can register to attend below:
