Following extended outreach conducted in the summer of 2018, two street improvement projects were implemented in CB 3. The intersection of Myrtle Ave and Broadway was one of the 10 most frequently mentioned intersections in need of safety improvements in CB 3. Safety Improvements to the intersection included extended pedestrian spaces, shortened crossing distances, and banned turns to reduce potential conflicts.
