Feedback for potential Level 2 Curbside Electric Vehicle Charging in Carroll Gardens, Red Hook & Gowanus

You can now select your preferred EV charging locations from potential options. Follow these steps to submit the Level 2 curbside EV locations you prefer or do not prefer:

Please add a comment explaining why you selected the location. For example: “bathrooms nearby,” “close to restaurants,” “I live nearby,” or “I work nearby.”

It would be great to have more chargers in Red Hook for those of us that drive EVs. Will there be some sort of extra enforcement so that folks with gas cars visiting the neighborhood and ikea don't use them as regular parking?

Yes, this is the best location for a charger close to the BQE and waterfront neighborhoods. Also, bring back the plan for the Red Hook Recharge Zone.

I live nearby. Good, relatively off the beaten path spot. Already not an overly competitive parking area, so giving a spot to charging here won’t be a real loss.

I live on the Columbia St Waterfront, two blocks from this site, and the announcement of the expansion of charging in my neighborhood has gotten me to cancel a hybrid purchase I had put a deposit down for and switch to getting an EV! The Waterfront is a great midway point for Red Hook and Carroll Gardens residents!
