This seems like the best of the options in Carroll gardens, but more closer to the heart of the neighborhood would be good: keep in mind that people often plug in to charge over night and the locations under the BQE are going to be a bit creepy.

This does not serve the working classes. Bicycles and electric vehicles serve a small group please end these programs and give the monies, my monies and the people’s monies into education.

I live here and parking is hard enough, and with the new school coming in I expect DoE will take parking away from half the block for their employees and buses.

Generally, there should be more balance between the north and the south of this zone. There really should be at least one and preferably multiple charging stations on Court St further north, but this is the closest one to the subway, the Court St restaurants and shops, and, yes, where I live. Many of the proposed stations are in lower density parts of the zone that are going to be inconvenient at best. Put the stations where they will be used and useful.

Red Hook and Columbia Street waterfront are overburden with traffic due to the BQE and the Amazon warehouses. I highly support the previous comment to do a deal with IKEA. They have more than enough room in their parking lot. You could put up 10 superchargers this could go really quickly and it would be a very convenient way of doing this. This is how it’s done all over the west. Costco parking lots and other large stores have supercharger.
